Warrior 38290 was struck by several birds on Sunday August 15, 1999. The plane was landed without incident in Penn Yann. On Wednesday August 18, 1999, Jeff Boshart and Frank Wolfs traveled to Penn Yann to examine the damage to the plane and to patch up some of the damage in order to make 38290 airworthy for a ferry flight to Batavia. During this trip the following pictures were taken to document the damage done to the plane.
